Lamar Jackson is one of the best quarterbacks of this generation. Time and again he has proven that his skills are at the next level. However, fans made jokes at his expense when the QB was sent back home on the first day of training camp.

The Baltimore Ravens started their mandatory full training camp on Sunday and will last until August 15. After last season’s heartbreaking loss to the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship, the team is determined to reach the top. However, their star QB did not complete their first session.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter took to X (formerly Twitter) to break the news that Lamar Jackson had to leave training prematurely. He reported:

“Ravens QB Lamar Jackson was sent home from practice today due to an illness.”

It didn’t take long for fans to poke fun at Lamar Jackson. With most jokes targeting his immune system failing him at important junctures.

“Bro Immune System like Trump's security”
“Immune system weaker than a Shakur Stevenson jab”
“Immune system of a 1800s peasant”, wrote one fan.
“Generational athlete with the worst immune system on the planet”, wrote another fan on X.
“Lamar’s immune system needs to be studied”, wrote one fan.

Some fans questioned why Lamar Jackson gets sick often.

“Why is he always sick?!?”, asked one fan.
“This dude always sick start washing your hands bro”, wrote one fan.

Lamar Jackson is involved in a legal battle

The reigning NFL MVP has a lot on his mind, apart from the events about to transpire on the gridiron in less than a couple of months, Lamar Jackson is also battling a trademark case with former Dallas Cowboys QB Troy Aikman. The dispute stems from Aikman's attempt to trademark 'EIGHT' which Jackson is allegedly blocking. The NFL legend then took to X and posted this:

Hey Lamar, looks like a worthy conversation over a couple cold EIGHT beers! Maybe Steve Young can arbitrate?”

Steve Young is another QB who wore the No. 8 on his jersey like Jackson and Aikman. Lamar Jackson has yet to respond to Aikman's social media post.
