Bears quarterback Caleb Williams is only a rookie, and already he is carrying himself like a superstar. His penchant for painting his fingernails has already been the stuff of legend, and on Sunday he gave some of his fans another reason to perceive him as a future face of the league.
Williams arrived at NEG Stadium for their game against the Houston Texans wearing a simple loose-sleeved black T-shirt, olive wide-ankled pants, and black dress shoes:
Reactions to the look were mixed:

"AURAAA," another fan exclaimed.
"why your guy dressing like he raised a family of velociraptors at Jurassic World?," another fan wondered referencing another movie franchise.
More reactions can be seen below:
"That's a man who looks like he's ready to throw for 78 yards tonight," one said.
"No pink case?????" another bewilderedly asked.
"Walking his way to a victory in Houston.." another hoped.
Caleb Williams looking to make history as Bears visit Texans
Most rookie quarterbacks end up on the losing end of their debuts, which is understandable - they are trying to adjust to the intricacies of professional football on the fly. And then there is Caleb Williams.
Against the Tennessee Titans last week, he managed to secure the win despite being mostly horrible - only 93 yards from 14 of 29 passes completed.
Having a strong special teams and defense certainly helped, as they scored the Bears' only two touchdowns - Jonathan Owens blocking a punt, then Tyrique Stevenson intercepting Will Levis. In the words of Titans defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons:
"They did nothing spectacular... They didn’t do s*** on offense.”
After the game, Williams said:
"It obviously wasn't a game that I'm gonna play in the future, and not the game that I wanted to play for my first game."
Now, Caleb Williams stands to make more history at the Texans. Ever since the merger, only six of 28 first-pick quarterbacks have won their second-ever start, per Chicago Bears on SI. And only four have won their first-ever road start. He could be the first to win their first home, then away start.
But that will not be easy. Defensive end Will Anderson Jr. calls containing Caleb Williams a key priority for the Texans:
“It’s going to be another thing that we have to contain him as well up front and do a good job of rushing together and being one,” Anderson said per AL.com.
The game can be currently seen on NBC, with Mike Tirico and Cris Collinsworth in the booth and Melissa Stark at fieldside.
