Aaron Rodgers and the New York Jets suffered a tough loss on Monday, as divisional rivals Buffalo Bills were able to close out a 23-20 win in New York and keep themselves in first place in the AFC East.
The game was tightly contested from start to finish, and the referees will be the main topic of discussion after a performance that included over 22 penalties. However, the play that really decided the outcome was an interception thrown by Aaron Rodgers to Mike Williams, where the wide receiver slipped before catching the ball.
Mike Williams seemed to get hurt on the play and trainers were walking by his side as he left the field.
NFL fans were harsh on the wide receiver after the interception, stating that the quarterback would think twice to throw to him again.

"Aaron Rodgers may never throw another pass to Mike Williams again", said one fan
"Dude is awful, worst receiver in the league. Feel bad for Aaron Rodgers", said another
"Hes so bad. Cant stop laughing", added a third fan.
It's worth remembering that Rodgers is famous for putting receivers "in the doghouse", meaning he stops throwing them the ball once a mistake is made. This happened a lot of times with young wide receivers while he played for the Green Bay Packers.
Jets, Rodgers sitting at 2-4; what's going on in New York?
A third straight loss did not help the team erase the bad mood after Robert Saleh's firing. It was a competitive game where they were tied for long periods; however, the Bills did just enough to get the edge and walk away with the win.
Analysts are already questioning Aaron Rodgers, but it's difficult to say that this loss was his fault. He finished with 23 completed passes out of 35 attempts for 294 yards and two touchdowns. A bigger problem sat in the kicking game, with Greg Zuerlein missing two field goals that could've been the difference in the 23-20 loss.
The quarterback himself criticized the referees after the game due to the amount of penalties, but he also said that bad calls were made against the Buffalo Bills. This loss will be tough to swallow, especially as they're now sitting two games behind in the division.
They'll have another chance to recover on primetime against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 7's Sunday Night Football.
