Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys pulled off a thrilling last-gasp win over the Pittsburgh Steelers at Acrisure Stadium in a weather-affected game on Sunday Night Football.
The visitors were trailing by four points when they faced a 4th-and-goal from the Steelers' four-yard line with 26 seconds left in the clock. On the do-or-die play, Prescott held his nerve and found wide receiver Jalen Tolbert, who made a tough catch to give the Cowboys the lead.
The quarterback was exceptional in the game-winning drive, completing five of his seven pass attempts for 44 yards, including the inch-perfect throw to Tolbert that helped the Cowboys take the lead. Two plays earlier, he saved the game with a heads-up play.

On a 2nd-and-goal play from less than a yard out, running back Rico Dowdle tried to leap into the endzone, but a perfectly-timed tackle from Elandon Roberts knocked the ball loose. Prescott dove on the ball to prevent a turnover, which would have handed the Steelers a victory.
Despite his stellar work in the game-winning drive, fans weren't too pleased with his overall performance and complained about it on X:
"2 picks. One fumble lost. 2 redzone turnovers"
Some fans were less than impressed with his turnovers:
"He’s the reason they were in that position in the first place with those turnovers." - Wrote @leronford
"He is also the reason he needed to save the game" - Opined @SuperMario_Sama
"He owed us for those picks" - Claimed @dude_mma
Dak Prescott's stats: QB's gaffes prove inconsequential
While Prescott put up stellar numbers against the vaunted Steelers defense, he did commit some egregious errors during the game.
In the dying seconds of the first quarter, he held on to the ball despite two defenders converging on him and fumbled the ball, wasting the exceptional work he and the Cowboys offense did to get in a prime scoring position.
With under a minute left in the half, Prescott tried to force a pass to CeeDee Lamb in the endzone but instead threw an easy interception to Donte Jackson, who accepted the quarterback's gift.
Less than five minutes into the fourth quarter, Prescott launched a deep pass to Tolbert, who never gained a step on Joey Porter Jr., giving the cornerback an easy opportunity to pick the pass off.
Despite the slew of mistakes, he did not shy away from throwing the ball. He finished the game with 392 yards, two touchdown passes, and two interceptions and led the Cowboys to victory.
While he deserves credit for maintaining his composure, he'll have to cut out the mistakes if he intends to embark on a deep playoff run with Dallas.
