Flag football will make its debut at the Olympics in 2028, which will be hosted in Los Angeles, California. As the 2024 Summer Olympics currently take place in Paris, France, commercials and other promotions for the next summer Games have already begun.

In anticipation of the flag football debut, the NFL released a promo featuring Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts.

NFL fans are clearly excited for flag football to make its debut at the Games, responding with an array of tweets.

"That’s my QB," one fan declared.
"MY GOAT REALLY IS THE FACE OF THE LEAGUE," one fan of Hurts said.
"My quarterback was chosen for a reason !!!" stated one fan.

Then there were fans who were against the idea of having Hurts as the face of the league for the upcoming Games. While there is still four years until a roster decision will be made, NFL fans already have their opinions on who will make the team.

"He’d be my 15th pick to play," said one fan against the idea of having Hurts in the commercial.
"There are 2 NFL teams in LA, but the NFL uses the Eagles QB in the Olympic commercial," questioned one NFL fan.
"Should have been Stafford doing this," said another.

Peyton Manning names Lamar Jackson and Tyreek Hill as favorites for Olympics

Ahead of the opening ceremony of the Paris Summer Olympics, Peyton Manning appeared on ESPN's "The Pat McAfee Show." They spoke about the addition of men and women's flag football in the next summer Games.

The Hall of Fame quarterback mentioned that he would like to see Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson and Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill play for Team USA.

"You mentioned the flag football is coming to the Olympics in LA in 2028. You hear about NFL players sort of campaigning to be on that team. It's scary to think Lamar Jackson, Tyreek Hill, but I'd like to be a coach on that team," said Peyton Manning.

Manning also mentioned that he would love to be a part of the coaching staff for Team USA. The two-time Super Bowl winning quarterback has experience coaching flag football, as he has done so in the Pro Bowl.
