Chicago Bears wide receiver D.J. Moore became the latest wide receiver to receive a big payday this offseason. Moore and the Bears agreed to terms on a new four-year, $110M extension with $82.6M in guarantees on Tuesday evening.

A busy offseason continues for the Bears. They've added the likes of running back D'Andre Swift, acquired wide receiver Keenan Allen and also landed tight end Gerald Everett and safety Kevin Byard. Most importantly, they added quarterback Caleb Williams and wide receiver Rome Odunze in the first round of this year's draft.

Moore was traded to Chicago before last season and had a career season in 2023, setting career-highs in receptions (96) yards (1,364) and touchdowns (8.)

Upon becoming the latest $100 million wide receiver, fans reacted to the contract extension on social media.

Some fans thought the Bears overpaid for Moore, given their deep WR room.

Here's how some fans reacted.

"I would’ve waited till next year to see which receiver ended up #1 honestly," one fan wrote.
"Most def an immense overpay, especially in that crowded room," one fan wrote.
"That's a lot of money. In the actual market I understand it but at 29 and with Keenan and Rome now in that wr group he won't put up the same numbers the next 4-5 years," one fan said.

On the contrary, many fans think the deal was great for D.J. Moore and the team. Some think Moore has deserved every penny of the contract while others think it's a great contractual value for the team. Either way, the Bears keep a key offensive piece for four more years and will have a reliable target for Williams.

Here's how other fans reacted.

"Ohhh Damnnnnnnnn. Good For DJ!" one fan wrote.
"WOWWWW LFG HUGE for Poles and the Bears. Well deserved," a fan wrote.
"The Bears making smart organizational decisions is uncharted territory I don’t know what to do with myself," one fan joked.
