Aaron Rodgers and the New York Jets won their home opener on Thursday night, but it was Nikki Glaser's postgame segment that has gotten even more buzz. The comedian is well-known to NFL fans for her appearance at Tom Brady's Netflix roast last May.
Glaser sat at the desk alongside the Prime Video's "Thursday Night Football" crew and got her jabs in at them and even herself during her "Late Hits with Nikki Glaser" segment. After comparing herself to San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle, she then turned her jokes toward the New York Jets quarterback.
Glaser called Aaron Rodgers "Throw Rogan," a jab at his association with radio host Joe Rogan. She also went on to mock Rodgers for the silent retreat he took last year.

Fans on social media had a wide range of opinions on Nikki Glaser's segment.
Fans on X commented on the post of Glaser's segment, and while some thought it was hilarious, others considered it a bit cringy. Fans also noticed that former NFL quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick didn't appear to be a fan of some of her jokes and was caught frowning at times.
"The Rodgers family joke had me rolling," one fan thought.
"Fitz was NOT a fan of hers," one fan realized.
"It’s awkward when no one is laughing on set with her. Especially with how awesome the Sack Galifianakis joke was!" said another.
Some NFL fans didn't feel it was necessary to add a comedic piece to the "Thursday Night Football" postgame show. In fact, Nikki Glaser herself said that she didn't know much about football until recently.
"Calling Aaron Rodgers 'Throw Rogan' was funny," said one person on X.
"The NFL doesn’t need her fanbase. All expansions of audiences are not necessary," one fan posted.
"I love Nikki but this is an incredibly odd setting and odd segment for #TNF," one fan thought of the segment.
Aaron Rodgers brushed off awkward moment with Robert Saleh
Aaron Rodgers led the New York Jets to a 24-3 win over the New England Patriots on Thursday night. During the game, there was a moment that was caught on the live broadcast that quickly went viral on social media. Rodgers walked back to the sidelines after a touchdown, and he appeared to pull away from a hug from coach Robert Saleh.
After the game, Rodgers was asked by reporters about the interaction, and he brushed it off as nothing serious.
“He’s not a big hugger, usually, so I didn’t know he was going for the hug,” Rodgers said. "He likes to do the two-hand chest push as well. But he talks a lot about two-score leads, so I just kind of gave him a push and said: ‘Two-score lead.’ That’s what happened.”
The moment between the New York Jets quarterback and coach even caught the attention of Nikki Glaser, who mentioned it during her postgame segment.
“I think Saleh just reminded him [Robert F. Kennedy Jr.] dropped out of the race,” Glaser said.
Aaron Rodgers clearly didn't want to make a big deal of it, but fans will definitely be watching further interactions between the two.
