The Green Bay Packers have lost four-straight games and seem to be in desperate need of help, especially on offense. Quarterback Aaron Rodgers has been critical of the young wide receivers on his team and their lack of production.

Packers fans were hopeful that the team would be able to make at least one move before this past week's NFL trade deadline. Unfortunately, for them, Green Bay were unable to make any progress in trade negotiations and the team now stays stagnant with their current roster.

NFL insider Dov Kleiman reported that the Green Bay Packers did try to make a trade for at least four different key players on the trade block. Carolina Panthers wide receiver DJ Moore, Denver Broncos wide receiver Jerry Jeudy, Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Chase Claypool and Las Vegas Raiders tight end Darren Waller were all approached.

According to Kleiman, the team struck out on all four of those trade possibilities. Moore and Claypool were both traded but Waller and Jeudy remain with their respective teams.

When the news was made public, fans in Green Bay were not happy that the front office was unable to make any trades.

Michael Irvin is furious that Packers didn't get QB Aaron Rodgers help

Quarterback Aaron Rodgers has been named the NFL MVP the last two seasons, but that is far from the case this season. Rodgers and Green Bay have lost four of their previous five games. They are three games back from the NFC North division lead and have an under-.500 record through eight weeks.

As the trade deadline came and went on November 1, the team stayed silent without making any moves. Hall of Fame wide receiver and analyst Michael Irvin is tired of hearing that Green Bay tried to make a trade. He feels that they have continued to fail to get Rodgers any help on the offense:

"I don't want to hear about how hard the Packers tried."

At this point in the season, Green Bay is in a sticky situation. No trades can be made and the only additions they can make at this point are free-agent signings.
