Odell Beckham Jr. signed with the Miami Dolphins in the 2024 offseason, hoping to help the franchise end its 52-year wait for a Super Bowl win. However, the season didn't pan out as the star wide receiver or the franchise would have envisioned.

Tua Tagovailoa's injury in Week 2 derailed their campaign. The veteran struggled to make an impact, and when he returned, the quarterback couldn't strike a chemistry with the three-time Pro Bowler. Beckham and the team realized that their partnership wasn't the right fit, and ahead of the Dolphins' Week 15 clash against the Houston Texans, they mutually parted ways.

The 32-year-old cleared waivers and was free to sign with any team. However, he didn't join any franchise in the final four weeks of the regular season, prompting speculation that he was done for the year. However, NFL insider Josina Anderson revealed that wasn't the case. When a fan asked for an update about Beckham's future on X, she replied:

"There are teams monitoring the situation and have expressed interest in potentially joining their organization depending on circumstances surrounding their roster. He's staying in shape and has the experience of playing in a Super Bowl with an MVP-like first half before his injury. Fresh now."

Odell Beckham Jr. stats: WR is no longer the dominant force he once was

After tearing his ACL in Super Bowl 56, Odell Beckham Jr. missed the entire 2022 season before signing with the Baltimore Ravens in the 2023 offseason. While the team had a stellar season, the wide receiver had an underwhelming campaign.

He ended the year with only 35 catches for 565 yards and three touchdowns in 14 games, his least productive year since the 2020 season with the Cleveland Browns, where he played only seven times. The Ravens' run-heavy offensive scheme was cited as the reason for his lack of impact, and the consensus was that he'd perform better in a pass-first offense.

Beckham seemingly had the same thought process wjem he joined the Dolphins in the 2024 offseason. However, he had the worst season of his career, as he caught only nine passes for 55 yards and no touchdowns in nine games before asking to be released.

The 32-year-old is keen on winning the Super Bowl for the second time. However, given his underwhelming stint with Miami, it's unlikely that any legitimate Super Bowl contender would consider adding Beckham to their roster.
