In the second quarter of Thursday night's primetime showdown, Seahawks wide receiver DK Metcalf got into an altercation with the Bears cornerback Tyrique Stevenson. The two began shoving each other and then Metcalf took it even further when he head-butted Stevenson.

Metcalf's actions had many surprised that he wasn't ejected from the game. One of those was NFL Insider Albert Breer who expressed his thoughts on X.

"I'm a little surprised that didn't get DK Metcalf tossed," Breer wrote on X.

The officials decided to instead give the Seattle Seahawks a 15-yard penalty. That penalty pushed the Seahawks' offense back into their own territory but, were able to get a field goal out of the series.

Despite not being ejected from the game, Metcalf will still likely face a fine from the league for his actions. The Seahawks wide receiver was already fined earlier this season after the Week 5 matchup against the New York Giants. He was fined $11,255 for unnecessary roughness for allegedly throwing a player to the ground.

DK Metcalf didn't show remorse for altercation with Tyrique Stevenson

The Seattle Seahawks pulled off the 6-3 win over the Chicago Bears on a rainy night in the Windy City. After the game, DK Metcalf was asked about the altercation with Tyrique Stevenson in the second quarter.

Metcalf didn't show much remorse for his actions that nearly saw him ejected from the game.

"I'm a grown man. My emotions are in check. Like I said, it's a physical game out there. Especially when I'm out there. I'm gonna test the DB," Metcalf told Jane Slater after the game

During Thursday's win over the Chicago Bears, Metcalf had just three catches for 42 yards. He has 939 yards on the season, just 61 yards shy of his third consecutive 1,000-yard season with one game remaining on the regular season schedule.
