Odell Beckham Jr. is still a free agent and many teams are interested in signing the former Los Angeles Rams wide receiver. One of the teams that has been interested in OBJ for a while is the Kansas City Chiefs.
The Super Bowl champions were in attendance during the receiver's latest workout, and are expected to step up their interest in him in the coming days. ESPN's Marcus Spears believes that OBJ should sign with the Chiefs, as he will be a great fit for their team.

"He doesn't need to be in the one spot but he'll be a one in Kansas City, which is should be the obvious spot for him and when you think about it, he's only the one wide receiver because Travis Kelce ain't a wide receiver. That's why he would be the one but he will still be the two.
"I think you do a one-year deal $6-$7 million in Kansas City. More than likely you're gonna end up in AFC Championship based on what we did watch in the last five years and you'll have an opportunity as well to have dynamic numbers show that you're back fully healthy.
"You can make those explosive splash plays that Odell Beckham Jr. wants to make as well. I think Kansas City would be perfect with it. Great play caller, great, great quarterback and a great tight end and you will just fit seamlessly in."
There is no denying that OBJ will be a great fit alongside Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce on the Chiefs' offense, but the main issue that will arise will be how much money the receiver is seeking.
There were earlier reports that Beckham Jr. was looking for about $20 million a year in free agency, but he later denied such rumors. As a result, the Chiefs may be interested in acquiring the star receiver if the price is right.
Odell Beckham Jr. will provide a veteran presence in the Chiefs' locker room
The Kansas City Chiefs lost JuJu Smith-Schuster to the New England Patriots in free agency and might even lose Mecole Hardman in the coming days. The addition of Odell Beckham Jr. will immediately fill the void left by those two players, and the team will benefit from it.
The Chiefs have a pretty young roster, and a veteran like OBJ could help them a lot. He will undoubtedly help Mahomes in becoming even better and minimize the opposition's defensive focus on Travis Kelce during the games. This move would make a lot of sense for both parties and Chiefs fans would undoubtedly welcome it.
