The Green Bay Packers are in panic mode. Not even the presence of the great Aaron Rodgers can cover up the glaring gaps in the perennial Super Bowl contenders' armor. The Packers have lost four back-to-back games this season and haven't looked good in the games they have won.

We are mid-way through the regular season and if the Packers want to appear in the postseason, some changes must be made. With the trade deadline imminent, here are three players Green Bay should look at:

#1. Mike Gesicki, Miami Dolphins (TE)

The Packers have never really utilized high-caliber tight ends like Rob Gronkowski, Travis Kelce, or George Kittle. Even when they landed Jimmy Graham a few years ago, Green Bay relied on the productivity of their wide receivers and running backs. However, even that seems to be compromised due to the departure of Davante Adams and Marquez Valdes-Scantling.

Hence, it is high time that the Packers acquired a decent receiving tight end. Mike Gesicki looks to be the best and most affordable fit among all tight ends in the NFL. The Miami Dolphins' tight end is playing on the franchise tag and may be available for a reasonable price. Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers can provide Gesicki with a shot at glory and signing him would be a huge boost to their offense.

#2. Jerry Jeudy, Denver Broncos (WR)

Jerry Jeudy was meant to be one of the biggest beneficiaries of the Russell Wilson trade. The former first-rounder was finally going to get the chance to play with a quarterback that possesses a rocket arm. However, the opposite has been the case for the Denver Broncos and starting quarterback Russell Wilson this season.

Jeudy has been starved of targets and ignored on good looks. Denver are staring down the barrel of another disappointing season. Well, it might not end up disappointing if Jeudy is traded to Green Bay, as some rumors are suggesting. Instead, Jeudy would benefit from a change of scenery and an offensive scheme that made Davante Adams one of the best receivers of his generation.

#3. Brandin Cooks, Houston Texans (WR)

Brandin Cooks is the perfect option at wide receiver if not for his guaranteed $18 million salary next season. Cooks is a wide receiver stud and has put up numbers for every team he's been a part of. So just imagine what he'd put up with a quarterback of Aaron Rodgers' caliber under center.

The issue is that it's looking increasingly unlikely that they can agree a trade with the Houston Texans. The Texans are having a bad season and are likely to be interested in acquiring a bevy of picks for the 2023 draft. Whether Green Bay would be willing to meet their demands and take on Cooks' contract are two very real stumbling blocks.

How are the Green Bay Packers performing this season?

For lack of a better word, the Green Bay Packers have been poor and this could be attributed to an array of reasons. These include the loss of last season's receivers, father time catching up with Aaron Rodgers and a lack of quality in their offensive line. However, if they want to maintain their proud record of making the playoffs, they will have to step it up over the next couple of weeks.
