Aaron Rodgers is still a member of the Green Bay Packers for now, but with every passing day it grows a little more likely that he'll end up with another team- probably the New York Jets.
Many believe this is a done deal and that Rodgers is going to be in New York next season wearing a different shade of green.
ESPN reporters Dan Graziano and Jeremy Fowler said that the two sides have discussed things and even have the parameters of a trade worked out.

"The Jets have shot their best shot, and the Jets and Packers have had enough discussions about compensation that they basically know the parameters of the prospective deal. They've discussed various scenarios involving picks and players going both ways, and I do believe it could come together quickly. But they're both still waiting on Rodgers to decide what he wants to do."
This all hinges on what Rodgers wants to do. If he doesn't want to be traded, then this is all moot. If he retires, again, it's all moot. Rodgers is in the driver's seat, but it seems like he has just three options now.
He can either run it back with the Packers, get traded to the Jets or retire. The former two seem more likely than the latter at this point.
The reporters also pointed out:
"No one wants to do anything to upset Rodgers and wreck the deal. Ultimately, the terms of a potential trade could change depending on how his contract situation is resolved and whether the Packers are willing to pay a portion of the money."
Rodgers can be a bit enigmatic and impulsive, so these two teams have to walk on eggshells a bit. Nevertheless, a trade seems imminent.
Does Aaron Rodgers make the Jets contenders?
The New York Jets were close to being a playoff team last year. With good weapons on offense and a very stout defense, it was clear that the young Jets just needed a quarterback.
Enter Aaron Rodgers, who was not all that great last season. Still, he's a huge upgrade and could easily be a top player once more in the right situation. The Jets very well could be that situation.
Either way, the Jets that trade for Rodgers have to be considered contenders in the AFC East.
