More than a few NFL stars were onboard the "Make America Great Again" train in the build-up to the election. San Francisco 49ers pass rusher Nick Bosa was among the more vocal athletes when it came to endorsing Donald Trump.
Bosa infamously pulled out a MAGA hat after the 49ers' Week 8 win over the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday Night Football. The Niners DE made waves, splitting opinion over whether he should have crashed his teammates' interview to send a political message on primetime.
However, after Trump won the election, Bosa's mom was also fully onboard the MAGA train. Cheryl Bosa posted a series of posts on her Instagram, proudly proclaiming the MAGA message on Wednesday night.

Nick Bosa still waiting to hear from NFL over MAGA fine
After Bosa crashed a live TV interview while NBC's Melissa Stark was interviewing George Kittle, Brock Purdy and Isaac Guerendo, the moment swiftly went viral.
However, there were reports that Bosa's political message could invite a fine. The NFL rulebook specified that players cannot display any personal or non-sponsored branding on game day. That rule also includes postgame and locker-room interviews.
Per NBC, Bosa's stunt would invite a fine of $11,255, which would be chump change for Bosa considering he signed a five-year, $170 million contract extension last season. However, Bosa said he is yet to hear from the league over a potential fine.
In an interview with reporters on Wednesday, Bosa said:
"It was well worth it. I don't think my position on speaking about it is going to change. So clearly, the nation spoke and we got what we got."
When asked about the fine, the Niners star added:
"I haven't gotten one yet, but if it comes, it comes."
Alongside Bosa, Patrick Mahomes' mom Randi also endorsed Donald Trump. On the eve of the election, Randi Mahomes sent a message, saying:
"Make America great again! Let's do it!"
Notably, in the build-up to the election, Donald Trump also thanked Patrick Mahomes' wife Brittany for her "support."
"I want to thank beautiful Brittany Mahomes for so strongly defending me, and the fact that MAGA is the greatest and most powerful Political Movement in the History of our now Failing Country," Trump said through his Truth Social account.
Over on the Democrat side of things, Russell Wilson's wife Ciara urged voters to side with Kamala Harris. NBA superstars Steph Curry and LeBron James also urged voters to vote Democrat.
