Nick Bosa has been one of the NFL's fastest-rising defensive stars ever since he came off the board second overall in 2019.
In his four full seasons so far, he has helped revitalize the San Francisco 49ers, bringing them to three NFC Championship games, including a Super Bowl visit as a rookie. Here are the defensive end's professional accolades so far:
- Defensive Player of the Year
- Three-time Pro Bowler
- One-time All Pro
- Most sacks in 2022
But if there is one thing that NFL fans do not like about Bosa, it is his purported homophobia and racism. He called former quarterback Colin Kaepernick "a clown" for his activist kneeling and said Beyonce produced "trash" music. He also often liked anti-gay and racist social media content and was a known strong Donald Trump supporter.

Fans recall Nick Bosa's controversial beliefs after photos of him in Kim Kardashian's SKIMS line emerge
On Monday, SKIMS, the underwear line of socialite Kim Kardashian, announced that it was expanding to menswear, with the first items becoming available for purchase on Thursday.
Three endorsers celebrated this launch - besides Nick Bosa, soccer star Neymar and Oklahoma City guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander also featured.
But when the defensive end's photos appeared, cynics recalled all his controversies:
Nick Bosa's net worth
All the negativity will probably not matter to Nick Bosa, who stands to make a sizable profit from his new endorsement.
That is already on top of the massive five-year, $170-million extension he signed with the San Francisco 49ers before the season began - the most lucrative contract ever for a defensive player, ending his holdout. That contract boosted his personal value to approximately $50 million.
He told Sports Illustrated's Albert Breer:
“My favorite part is that I’m still with the Niners. And that I get to play the majority of my career, maybe all of it, with this team. Not many people get to do that for such an amazing organization.
"For them to believe in me, to invest that much in me, it’s kind of like you have to pinch yourself."
Besides his annual average salary of $34 million, Bosa also earns $16 million in endorsements from companies like Nike, Optimum Nutrition and Bose.
