Nick Sirianni and the Philadelphia Eagles had to dig deep, but the team defeated the Los Angeles Rams 28-22 and booked their ticket to the NFC Championship Game. With plenty of snow falling on Lincoln Financial Field, a great exhibition from Saquon Barkley prompted the Eagles to win.
Although their season continued, this game was made much harder by Philadelphia's own mistakes, such as Jalen Hurts holding on to the ball too long or Nick Sirianni's poor game management. For the second straight week, Philadelphia marched on, but with questions to answer about the game.
NFL fans did not appreciate how the Eagles head coach approached the game, noting how the job was made harder by his decisions.

"I really don’t know how Nick survives this one if they lose," said one fan.
"NICK SIRIANNI WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU DOING," asked another fan.
"Letting the clock wind down there is reckless by Nick Sirianni. Could’ve gotten into FG range or even had two Hail Marys here," another fan said.
Nick Sirianni leads the Eagles to second NFC Championship Game in three seasons
Even though the head coach is one of the most criticized in the league, no one can deny his success in leading the franchise. He has taken the Eagles to four postseason appearances during his four years at the helm, all with a positive record.
He lost in the NFC Wild Card Round both in 2021 and 2023, but in 2022, the team made it to the Super Bowl before losing a close game to the Kansas City Chiefs. With two more wins in the current season, he holds a 4-3 playoff record in Philadelphia.
More impressively, even with his problems with game management, he has a strong 39-12 record in the past three years with the Eagles.
The final NFC playoff game of the season will be on Sunday, January 26, when the surprising Washington Commanders will travel to Philadelphia to decide the conference winner. During the regular season, the Eagles and the Commanders played twice in the NFC East, with each team winning a game.
