Saquon Barkley once again left fans in awe with his impressive run, as he dominated the Washington Commanders' defense in the very first drive of the Philadelphia Eagles in the 2024 NFC championship game. After Jayden Daniels and the Commanders opened the score with a field goal, the Eagles took the field, with nobody waiting for what would happen.
Jalen Hurts tossed Barkley the ball; he found an open space and took it. He ran for 60 yards after evading the linemen and then ran right through the middle of two defenders to continue his run. He spun and changed the trajectory of his run, having no opponents in sight to find the end zone.
NFL fans went crazy over this play, flooding social media with comments. Some ranked him the MVP of the season and praised his skills on the field.

"No one else deserves MVP," one fan said.
"This dude does it all 😭," another fan said.
"I mean he’s MVP lmao," another fan said.
Others remembered the New York Giants and rubbed salt in their wounds for their mistake of letting the running back go just like that.
"Giants really let this man go for free," one fan said.
"Somewhere you know John Mara is crying," another fan said.
The first time he went against the Washington Commanders, he also scored two rushing touchdowns on 26 carries, tallying 146 rushing yards. Jayden Daniels and Brian Robinson Jr. needed to work their magic to try to take the Commanders to the win, but after a 20-point fourth-quarter takeover, Barkley and the Eagles secured the 26-18 victory.
The second time he clashed with Washington, Barkley also found the end zone twice, but this time with 29 carries and 150 rushing yards. Daniels's five touchdowns prevented the Eagles from winning that game, but they couldn't stop Barkley.
Saquon Barkley scores second touchdown against Commanders
To make things worse for the Commanders, Saquon Barkley added another touchdown in the next offensive drive, extending his team's lead to 14-3 after Jake Elliott completed the extra point.
On first and goal, with 3:19 left on the clock in the first quarter, Hurts again gave him the ball and Saquon Barkley just needed to find his way to the score. This game will become a nightmare if the Commanders don't step up and try to slow Barkley down.
