Noah Lyles claps back at haters, Tyreek Hill as beef with Dolphins WR extends

During the past week, Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill and Olympic star Noah Lyles have engaged in a back-and-forth over their speed. Starting with Lyles saying Super Bowl winners aren't world champions, both athletes have continued their dialogue.

In a recent segment with GQ, Lyles responded to Hill and haters who troll him on Instagram. He read tweets from a few supporters, who backed his claims.

He did, however, address Hill directly.

"Tyreek Hill says, sign the contract and lock into that 50 yard race. One, no contract was sent to me. Two, you challenged me. So we're obviously going to be running 100 meters when money is put down, and when a contract is actually sent to me"

Lyles' words were a direct response to Hill's tweet.

"Sign the contract and lock in that 50 yard race..."

Lyles also challenged Hill directly, noting he isn't just boasting online. He even asked Tyreek to see him on the track.

Fans and other celebrities have picked sides between the two on social media. Some sided with Lyles, while some believed Hill might actually be faster than the Olympic silver medalist.

Noah Lyles didn't initially remember Tyreek Hill's name

Following Tyreek Hill's initial challenge, Lyles went on video to claim he didn't remember the NFL guy's name.

"Ummm, what's that guy, what's the cheetah guy from football? Well, I can't remember his name. Mark! What's the football player who thinks he's fast name? Tyreek Hill," Lyles said.

Fans were upset with Lyles' comment. Some wondered if the athlete was joking about forgetting Hill's name simply for show.

However, during an appearance on Night Cap, Lyles admitted to forgetting the 'cheetah' guy's name.

"I'm going to be honest. I forget his name all the time. If it's not about track or League of Legends, yeah."

According to Lyles, "Hill would show up if he wanted to compete".

Hill hasn't responded to Lyles' GQ video comments.
