“Now that is a Super Bowl” – Raiders owner Mark Davis got buried at 2018 NFL Honors

The annual NFL Honors will be held tonight, with many prestigious awards set to be announced for players, coaches, and teams. The 2023 Hall-of-Fame class will also be named during tonight's ceremony.

Every year, the NFL Honors has some memorable and funny moments. Back in 2018, comedian Rob Riggle had the opportunity to roast Las Vegas Raiders owner Mark Davis' haircut.

During the opening monolouge, Riggle had a funny line about comparing the Super Bowl to Davis' bowl-cut hairstyle.

Riggle said:

The 12th annual NFL Honors will be held tonight, Feburary 9, at 9:00 PM ET. It will be available to watch via Peacock, NBC, and NFL Network. It will be held at the Phoenix Symphony Hall in Phoenix, Arizona.

Many awards will be announced tonight, including MVP, Coach of the year, Offensive and Defensive Rookie of the Year and Comeback Player of the Year.

The nominees for MVP are Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts, Bills quarterback Josh Allen, Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow, and Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson.

The nominees for coach of the year are the Jaguars' Doug Marrone, the Giants' Brian Dabboll, 49ers' Kyle Shanahan.

The nominees for Offensive Rookie of the Year are Jets wide receiver Garrett Wilson, San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy, and Seahawks running back Kenneth Walker.

The nominees for Defensive Rookie of the Year are Jets cornerback Ahmad Gardner, Lions defensive end Aidan Hutchinson, and Seahawks cornerback Tariq Woolen.

The nominees for the Comeback Player of the Year are Seahawks quarterback Geno Smith, San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey, and New York Giants running back, Saquon Barkley.

The three-day Super Bowl will take place in nearby Glendale, Arizona. It will feature the Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs. Each team will be looking to win their second Super Bowl within the last five seasons.

The 2023 Hall-of-Fame class will also be announced tonight.
