Odell Beckham Jr. provides explanation for video of him calling man fat and ugly on flight

Remember when Odell Beckham Jr. was kicked off a flight to Miami while doing the rounds with NFL teams hoping to get signed? It seems like a long time ago, but now bodycam footage of the incident has been released.

In the footage, the receiver got angry at the passengers and called one man fat and ugly as all the passengers had to deboard to get Beckham Jr. to get off the plane.

The receiver has now taken to Twitter to offer his side of the story in a series of tweets. Fans can make their own assumptions or conclusions based on Beckham Jr.'s words.

So there you have it. Make of that what you will. What is rather interesting is that the receiver then responded to a user's comment asking exactly what was said on the flight for the receiver to respond the way he did.

It gives the idea that what the receiver stated about "cutting up any video" has some truth to it. Beckham Jr. responded:

"Everything. But the n word. Stupid ignorant blasé blasé !! Wellllll now I got sum to say … and I just was rudely woken up from a goood ass sleep. Now kahmirrr."

Given the majority of Twitter responses, most people seem opposed to the wideout's behavior.

Did airline incident hinder Beckham Jr.'s chances of signing with a team?

The answer is likely no, but it certainly wouldn't have helped any team that was thinking about signing him. While not physically ready to play as he couldn't even work out for the list of teams he was visiting, the airline incident may have given teams reservations.

With next year firmly in sight for the star receiver, will this new footage hinder his chances of signing with a potential Super Bowl contender? Possibly, however, any team desperate enough for a wide receiver will likely consider his services.

Nevertheless, it appears that we haven't heard the end of this incident.
