The Odell Beckham Jr. sweepstakes should include one more team, according to former NBA player Jay Williams. In an interview with Complex Sports, the wide receiver stated that he was interested in playing for the Bills, Packers, Cowboys and Giants. Williams wants to add another team to the list.

The Baltimore Ravens.

After defeating the Saints on Monday Night Football without tight end Mark Andrews, the Ravens did not have the big play ability (although Desean Jackson made a couple of catches). Jackson had two targets (one catch) for 16 yards against the Saints before leaving the game with a hamstring injury.

Williams wondered why the Ravens have not signaled their intention to bring in the 30-year-old free agent. Williams said Beckham Jr. could be the final piece in Baltimore's Super Bowl puzzle.

Williams said on KJM:

“I'm seeing the talent (on Baltimore's roster). And I'm just wondering, right, this team could win a Super Bowl if they just get you one more piece to unlock it. And I know OBJ the other day gave his four teams the Bills, the Packers, the Cowboys and potentially the Giants.
"But why aren't the Ravens on this list? It feels like he will be the one over the top receiver that would unlock Lamar Jackson. I just find myself asking, when are they going to give this dude a number one wideout?”

Williams does have a point. Adding a player like Odell to the Ravens receiving room would take them over the top. It would also give them a deep threat that they have otherwise been without.

Could Beckham Jr. work in Baltimore?

This is where it could get a little tricky. The Ravens are a running football team. Lamar Jackson has only thrown over 300 yards once this season and doesn't have a completion total over 27 (did it just once versus Tampa Bay).

By adding Beckham Jr., the Ravens will be forced to throw the ball more and potentially upset the superb brand of football they current play. Baltimore has rushed for over 150 yards in eight of their nine games this season and, aside from the one 300-yard passing game, have not surpassed 222 yards in a game. Five times, they have been under 200.

That doesn't bode well. Will Beckham Jr. be okay with having three to four targets a game? Time will tell, but the Ravens do not seem like a team that can utlitze the 30-year-old like other teams.
