Packers’ Jordan Love provides sneak peek into Rome vacay after dreamy marriage proposal to fiancée Ronika Stone

NFL players get everything important done in the off-season, especially engagements and weddings, including Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love. The quarterback broke engagement news with long-time girlfriend Ronika Stone this weekend.

Love proposed during their romantic trip to Italy. After their dreamy engagement, he shared a sneak peek into the couple's vacation through an Instagram post. The Packers quarterback went cryptic with his caption.

"DND," Love wrote in the caption.

The Instagram post included clips from Love and Stone's visit to the Vatican and Sistine Chapel in Vatican City, the Colosseum in Rome, the Amalfi Coast in the Sorrentine Peninsula, and many more cities.

The trip recap came just a day after Jordan Love announced their engagement. The engagement took place in a beautiful setting at Celsa Castle, in front of which Love proposed to Stone. After exchanging rings, the couple also enjoyed a romantic candle-lit dinner at the castle.

Even though there's no exact date for when Jordan Love and Ronika Stone started dating, according to PEOPLE, the Packers' quarterback "have been dating Ronika Stone for several years." In September 2020, the couple became Instagram official when Stone shared a selfie with her then-boyfriend.

Compared to many young NFL players, Jordan Love has kept his dating life quite secluded. However, the couple often shares PDA moments on Stone's TikTok profile with her followers. Stone has always been supportive of Love's NFL career; an athletic background is one reason behind this.

Ronika Stone comes from an extensive sports background, with her being a professional volleyball player. During her time at the University of Oregon, she majored in journalism but kept her passion for sports alive by playing for the college volleyball team.

Stone has the record for the highest career hitting percentage at Oregon, with the most all-time block assists. Not just Stone, but her father has a sporting background himself.

Ronika Stone is the daughter of Ron Stone, a former NFL star who played right guard and offensive tackle. Ron played for the Raiders, Giants, Cowboys, and 49ers before retiring from the league in 2006. Just like her father, Ronika's brother RJ is also a football player, playing for the Washington State Cougars.
