The New York Jets have quite a few decisions to make for next season. They are in desperate need of a head coach and a general manager, and if certain decisions are made, they could also find themselves in desperate need of a new quarterback. The Aaron Rodgers trade has not exactly gone to plan in the four-time NFL MVP's first healthy year with Gang Green.
After their regular-season finale ended with the team picking up their fifth win of the season, all signs pointed to Rodgers and the Jets going their separate ways. However, the signal-caller's stats for the season don't indicate he should be out of the league. Rodgers finished the year throwing for 3,897 yards and 28 touchdowns with 11 interceptions along the way.
One man who believes Rodgers still has a lot to offer is Green Bay Packers legend Brett Favre. During an interview with TMZ on Sunday, Favre made his opinion clear that Rodgers can still work his magic in the league.
"I just know that he still can play," Favre said. "It's just a matter of does he want to and does he want to give it his all and does a team want to take a chance on him.

"If there's any little inkling in him that wants to play and prove that he can still do it at a high level, then I would say do it."
Why a Jets return could be complicated for Aaron Rodgers
Rodgers signed a three-year, $112.5 million deal after being traded to the Jets. That deal is valid for another year.
As part of that contract, if the Jets choose to bring Rodgers back for the 2025 NFL season, the team's cap hit would stand at $23.5 million. Rodgers is also owed a $35 million option bonus in addition to a base salary of $2.5 million.
For his part, Rodgers told reporters he would be open to taking a pay cut to make things easier for him and the Jets. However, any decision on the four-time MVP will have to wait until they have a new GM and head coach in place.
As things stand, since Mike Vrabel landed with the New England Patriots, Detroit Lions defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn remains the frontrunner to be named the next head coach of the Jets.
