Mike Tomlin is currently the longest-tenured head coach in NFL history, having served the Pittsburgh Steelers since 2007, won one of two Super Bowls and continued the team's penchant for not finishing below .500 during that time. But if a fellow Super Bowl champion is to be believed, that tenure may be at risk.
On Tuesday's episode of FS1's "The Facility", former Green Bay Packers wide receiver James Jones opined that another playoff loss to the Baltimore Ravens in Saturday's Wild Card matchup could necessitate a firing:
"It's about winning championships and getting to the Super Bowl," Jones said. "You have not shown you can do that, and not only that, [he] is 8-10 in the playoffs. That's a losing record. So sometimes, even as great as a coach you are, you might need a new venue, you might need a fresh start.
"Looking at it right now, if he doesn't win a playoff game this year with probably the better quarterback that he's had in a long time to get in the playoffs and compete, it might be time to start having conversations," he added.

Dan Graziano says other teams will fire their incumbents if Mike Tomlin is fired by Steelers
Now, what if the Steelers do the unthinkable and fire Tomlin after the 11th playoff loss of his career? That would arguably be one of the most seismic decisions in NFL history – and one that could dramatically affect coaching searches around the league.
Insider Dan Graziano believes such a decision could be seismic enough that other teams subsequently fire their incumbents – like the New York Giants' Brian Daboll and the Indianapolis Colts' Shane Steichen – if it means having better odds at landing his services.
"This is a solution that immediately jumps to the front of the line... The why this guy manages an organization, the way this guy coaches a team, he would be everyone's top choice immediately if he were to become available," Graziano said on ESPN's 'Get Up'.
Domonique Foxworth seconded him, adding:
"He's a guy that makes everyone's job a lot easier, especially the owner of the team... You hire Mike Tomlin, you can shut up and disappear. He becomes the face, the culture of the organization... I think teams would get excited for that."
The Steelers-Ravens game kicks off at M&T Bank Stadium at 8:00 p.m. ET on Amazon Prime – the first playoff game to air on the streaming platform.
