Thanksgiving was three days ago, but Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills are still in festive mode and showcased their backyard football skills in their Sunday Night Football battle against the San Francisco 49ers at the snow-clad Highmark Stadium.
On a first-and-goal play, the quarterback tried to catch the 49ers defense off-guard with a quick pass to Amari Cooper. However, the pass was slightly behind the wide receiver, who had to reach out and grab it one-handed. That gave the defense the chance to swarm the veteran.
However, he didn't go down, staying on his feet until he saw Allen toward him. Cooper ad-libbed and pitched the ball to the quarterback who sprinted toward the endzone before diving and knocking down the pylon with the ball for a touchdown.

The stunning play left people in attendance and those watching on TV astonished, including Kansas City Chiefs superstar Patrick Mahomes, who reacted to the play on X:
"That was lit!"
The touchdown extended the Bills' lead to 25 points.
Josh Allen's historic performance
The incredible play was officially recorded as Josh Allen throwing a touchdown pass to himself, making it the second receiving touchdown of his career. His first came in 2020 on a trick play against the Arizona Cardinals.
Allen also rushed for a touchdown and threw a touchdown pass to wide receiver Mack Hollins in the 35-10 win over the 49ers on Sunday Night Football. He became the first player in NFL history to catch, throw, and rush for a touchdown in the same game.
The blowout victory saw the Bills improve to 10-2 and win the AFC East division title for the fifth straight season, the longest streak in franchise history. Allen's incredible performance coupled with Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens' loss to the Philadelphia Eagles also improved the quarterback's odds of winning the MVP award.
It's been a terrific week for Allen, who proposed to longtime girlfriend, actress Hailee Steinfeld, delivered a magnificent performance on a snow-clad day in Buffalo, clinched the division title for his team, and took the lead in the race for the MVP award.
