Patrick Mahomes makes feelings known on plans for 4th baby with wife Brittany after birth of daughter Golden Raye

Kansas City Chiefs superstar Patrick Mahomes and his wife Brittany became parents again this past weekend, welcoming daughter Golden Raye into the world. She is the couple's third child after daughter Sterling Skye, and son Patrick "Bronze" Lavon.

During his media availability on Tuesday, Mahomes revealed that his two kids are extremely excited about the newest addition to their family. He said

"It's been cool to welcome another baby girl into our family and see how our other kids react to her and having baby sissy and stuff like that."

After having three kids in less than four years, the quarterback and his wife are in no rush to add a sixth member to their roster. When asked if they planned on having more kids, the three-time Super Bowl champion responded:

"I’m good with three kids right now, we’ll see down the line, my goal was always three so we’ve had three and we’ll sit there for a while and see if we need another one later on."

Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs chasing history

Patrick Mahomes may not be on having a fourth child, but he's focusing his entire energy on winning the Super Bowl for the fourth time in his career with the Chiefs. The two-time reigning champions are looking to become the first team to win three straight Super Bowls and are only three games away from achieving their goal.

They'll host the Houston Texans at Arrowhead Stadium in the divisional round. If they win, they'll host either Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills or Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC Championship Game.

Mahomes and the Chiefs have essentially been recuperating for the game on Sunday against the Texans since their Christmas Day battle against the Pittsburgh Steelers, which they won. It helped them secure the No. 1 seed in the AFC, prompting head coach Andy Reid to let his starters sit out of their Week 18 clash against the Denver Broncos.

Brittany timed her delivery to perfection, allowing Mahomes to be by her side during their daughter's birth. However, the quarterback will now take a break from fatherhood and turn his attention to making history with the Chiefs.
