Patrick Mahomes' mother, Randi, was overjoyed at her son's success. The Kansas City Chiefs are closer to NFL history, eyeing a three-peat closely after their divisional-round win against the Houston Texans.
Mahomes, ready to tackle another playoff game, is already cementing his status as one of the most successful QBs in the league.
"Winning on and off the field! I am so proud of you son. Grateful for the moments with family that mean the most❤️💛," Randi Mahomes wrote.

However, there was another special reason for Randi Mahomes to celebrate on Saturday. Not only did the Chiefs advance to another AFC Championship Game, but it was also Randi's birthday.
Tavia Hunt, married Chiefs CEO Clark Hunt, wished Randi on Instagram.
"Happy birthday!! 🎂🎉❤️," Tavia Hunt wrote.
Mahomes, sparingly active on Instagram, also reacted to the Chiefs win.
"On to the next ⏰," Mahomes wrote in the caption.
The photo shared was from his last quarter throw to Travis Kelce.
Though many considered the Chiefs' win controversial, fans and Mahomes' family continue to support the QB.
