Earlier in September, Randi Mahomes skipped the Kansas City Chiefs' game against the Los Angeles Chargers to be at the hospital with her father. Usually at the stadium to cheer her son on, Randi (and Mahomes' half-sister Mia) chose to sit out the game.
"Watching game with daddy today… prayers please for my dad," Randi Mahomes wrote on her Twitter.
The photo featured a hospital bed, the live game visible on the small TV.
As of yet, Randi Mahomes hasn't revealed a particular cause of the hospitalization or specified any illness.
Furthermore, Randi lost her mother in April 2023. She continues to speak of her mother, even adding that she'd be proud of Mahomes for making the Times 100 list.
"Momma would be so proud & calling everybody in her contacts. I'm proud of you @patrickmahomes," Randi wrote in her IG story.

Randi Mahomes reshared a photo originally posted by daughter-in-law Brittany.
"Best day this year," Randi wrote on Wednesday.
That being said, the family was watching the game while baking at the same time.
