Brittany Mahomes wasn't going to let her husband Patrick Mahomes off the hook easily. On Christmas Day, the Kansas City Chiefs took on the Pittsburgh Steelers. And unlike last year when the Las Vegas Raiders stole the Chiefs' Christmas, this year they won 29-10.
It was not so much of a thriller as the Chiefs dominated the Steelers for most of the game. Unlike some of their other games this season, the Steelers game didn't come down to the last second or final play of the game, but the Chiefs held a comfortable lead for most of the two hours.
Ahead of the Christmas Day game, the Super Bowl champion had made a promise to Brittany. He had promised her that he would win the Christmas game and hence that the Chiefs would clinch the number one seed in the AFC.
Brittany is currently pregnant with his third child, after daughter Sterling and son Bronze. She took to Instagram to share a 4-word reaction to Mahomes keeping up the promise with the Christmas Day win.

"Always keeping his promises"
Before the game, while speaking to Kay Adams, he had revealed that the baby was "due any day now" and that he hoped that the delivery date would be during the Chiefs bye week during the playoffs.
Brittany watched her husband play from the comfort of her home
Brittany makes it a point to travel as much as she can to watch her husband play live from whichever stadium he's playing in. But this time, she decided to ditch traveling to Pittsburgh to the Steelers' home stadium and instead chose to watch the game from home.
Her decision is understandable since, as revealed by Mahomes, she was late into her pregnancy and could have the baby "any day now." However, her day at the house was eventful with her children baking cakes for Christmas.
She shared snippets from the day on her Instagram story. In one, Sterling could be seen mixing some dry batter, and in another, baby Bronze was playing with a toy and kitchen paper towel roll.
In the final one, she seemed to be joined by mother-in-law Randi Mahomes and sister-in-law Mia, who were helping her out at the house.
She captioned the picture, "Already on our second box of baking".
Chiefs fans are eager to see Mahomes' baby #3, and the Chiefs potentially lifting the Lombardi Trophy for the third time in a row.
