"Their [offensive] line definitely has their struggles and I feel like we can take advantage of that," Settle said, via Chron.com. "We got an elite [defensive] line. ... I hope [Mahomes] is mobile enough because we coming in Arrowhead. Pat better make good decisions. I ain't making threats. I'm making promises."

"This man said a lot this week," Stroupe wrote, showing Settle on the ground as Mahomes runs.

Mahomes finished the game going 28-for-41 for 260 yards and a touchdown. He also rushed for 33 yards and a touchdown on 5 carries, as his ankle appeared to be fine.

Settle, meanwhile, recorded just one tackle in the loss as he was a non-factor getting after Mahomes in the pocket.

Patrick Mahomes prides himself on playing through injuries

Patrick Mahomes' status for Saturday's game was in the air due to an ankle injury.

However, Mahomes was able to recover enough and be a full participant in practice and play. After the win, Mahomes said he prides himself on playing every game.

“I ask a lot from the guys around me and, so, I feel like if I’m going to ask them to play through pain, if I’m going to ask them to play through little nicks and bruises and stuff like that, I’ve got to do it,” Patrick Mahomes said, via NBC.

"That’s something that I pride myself on, is being out there with my guys and playing football. I’m not going to put us in a position to be in a bad spot or lose a football game, but if I feel like I can compete and win, I’ll be out on that football field.”

With the win over the Texans, the Chiefs are now 14-1 and need one more win to clinch the No. 1 seed. Kansas City will return to the field on Christmas Day against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
