On Sunday, Patrick Mahomes and his wife Brittany welcomed Golden Raye, their third child and second daughter. The NFL world has been teeming with reactions and comments to celebrate the occasion, and Kansas City Union Station recently joined the celebrations.
Late on Tuesday, it posted an image on Instagram of its main building's center arches illuminated in gold (referring to the newly-born girl), silver (referring to eldest daughter Sterling Skye), and bronze (referring to middle son Patrick Lavon III):
Brittany Mahomes was among those who greatly appreciated the gesture, as she commented under the Kansas City Union Station's post:

Patrick Mahomes awaited daughter Golden Raye's birth by watching Wild Card Round
Golden Raye's birth coincided with the Kansas City Chiefs' bye week, and Patrick Mahomes just so happened to have the perfect way to kill time while his wife was set for labor.
Speaking to the press on Tuesday, he revealed that he, with Brittany's permission, watched the Wild Card round on TV. In the first of the three matchups, the Buffalo Bills routed the Denver Broncos 31-7 to inch closer to a rematch against the defending back-to-back Lombardi holders in the AFC Championship Game.
He said:
“It was cool that football was on TV when I was in the hospital, so I got to watch a little bit.”
Mahomes also discussed the possibility of having a fourth child. Back in July, he had dismissed the notion, saying that he was "done" once Golden Raye was born.
But just half a year later, Mahomes seems to have become more open to the idea, if only slightly. In the same media availability interview, he said:
"I'm good with three for right now. We'll see down the line, maybe. But my goal was always three. So, we've had three. And we'll stick there for a while and see if we need to come back and get another one later on."
He also praised Brittany for helping him manage the first few days of Golden Raye's life, saying that she "crushed" the process.
Mahomes and Co. will open their postseason account when they take on the Houston Texans in the Divisional Round at Arrowhead Stadium on Saturday.
