Patrick Mahomes’ wife Brittany encourages fans to donate as Pacific Palisades wildfire overtakes LA

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes' wife, Brittany Mahomes, has used her platform to help encourage her followers to give back. This week, Southern California has been devastated by wildfires that ran rampant through Pacific Palisades, Malibu and most recently the Hollywood Hills.

As hundreds of thousands of people have been forced to leave their homes and countless now have nowhere to return to, Brittany Mahomes shared resources on her Instagram Story on Thursday. In a series of three posts, she shared with her 2.1 million followers a list of organizations and foundations that are accepting donations and asking those who can to volunteer their time.

Another post shared how one could donate to the Los Angeles Fire Department and allow them to replenish resources and tools they have been using to help fight the fires.

The Los Angeles area fires could have an impact on the NFL playoff schedule as well. The Los Angeles Rams, who are set to host the Minnesota Vikings on Monday night, may be forced to move to an alternate stadium location if the fires aren't contained in the coming days.

Patrick Mahomes' wife Brittany shares maternity photo shoot as baby's arrival nears

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and his wife, Brittany, are expecting their third child any day. In anticipation of their baby's arrival, the Kansas City QB's wife had one final maternity shoot and shared the photos on Wednesday. In the caption, she shared a welcome to the new year and how they were ready for their newest addition.

Brittany Mahomes went for a white monochromatic look for the photo shoot, wearing denim bottoms and a button-down shirt that she left open to share her bump.

Brittany and Patrick Mahomes are already parents to a daughter, three-year-old Sterling, and a son, Bronze, who recently turned two years old. The couple announced that they were expecting their child last summer, shortly after revealing that their baby was a girl.

Patrick Mahomes revealed that his goal was to earn the number one overall seed and get a first-round bye week as Brittany's due date fell during the Wild Card round.
