Patrick Mahomes' family is expanding soon, with his wife Brittany announcing her pregnancy earlier this month. But if Brittany were to be asked, the process of having a third child has been rough.
Taking to her Instagram stories on Tuesday, she wrote:
"Good morning just me and my skin that's losing its mind...
"This pregnancy has been the hardest on me... sickness, exhaustion, and now skin!"

The third child has since been revealed to be a girl, with eldest daughter Sterling making the reveal via a game of tic-tac-toe during her parents' baby shower.
Patrick Mahomes' wife Brittany has also cut her hair during pregnancy
Whenever Brittany has gotten pregnant, keen-eyed observers have noticed that she would have shorter hair in the process. This one is no different, as an Instagram story posted on July 18 showed her with a fresh hairdo.
The caption read:
"With every kid the hair gets shorter. Oops."
She also shared her plans to battle post-partum depression:
"I'm not taking anything right now because I am pregnant. So, I do plan to go back to the post-partum [supplements] once I give birth," she said. "I'm obviously just sharing my experience. If any other moms out there are dealing with the same stuff. I like to hear recommendations of stuff that has worked and stuff that hasn’t worked."
Recapping the first time Brittany and Patrick Mahomes realized their pregnancy
Back in 2020, when she was carrying her first child, Sterling, Brittany initally thought that she was not pregnant. She recalled this in an Instagram Q&A back in 2021, where she shared:
“I went out there and I told him (Patrick), ‘Hey, I just took a pregnancy test. It’s negative, we’re good to go and then I had that weird feeling, and I went back in, and when I read it and it was positive, I just started crying and freaking out.”
Her husband's reaction indicated his maturity as he showed his full support.
“He kind of caught on and came to the bathroom, and then we kind of had our moment, and he was just so sweet and so supportive and just so excited about it," she said.
Sterling was eventually born on February 20, 2021—almost two weeks after Super Bowl LV.
