Patrick Mahomes has once again led the Kansas City Chiefs to an AFC championship game after beating the Houston Texans 23-14 in the divisional round on Saturday. The Chiefs inch closer to their three-peat dream, making Mahomes one of the most successful NFL quarterbacks of all time.

The Chiefs' win was hailed as problematic by a few, with many questioning the officiating during the game. However, Mahomes' family remains supportive, making sure to hype the QB and the Chiefs' win.

Brittany, making her first appearance since baby girl Golden Raye's birth, was laser-focused on their upcoming AFC championship game, as evidenced by an Instagram post on Saturday.

"On to the next🔥," Brittany wrote.

As fans cheered with Brittany, Mahomes left a single red heart in the comments section for his wife.

In another post, Mahomes' mother, Randi, expressed gratitude for the same. The family has started 2025 on a wonderful note, coming together to celebrate all their wins.

"Winning on and off the field! I am so proud of you son. Grateful for the moments with family that mean the most❤️💛," Randi Mahomes wrote.

The win also coincided with Randi's birthday.

Why was Patrick Mahomes' divisional round win vs. the Texans controversial?

As mentioned, not everyone was happy with the Chiefs' win.

The reigning Super Bowl champions benefitted from a few controversial calls, helping them cement their 23-14 win. Referee Clay Martin addressed the decisions made, highlighting roughing the passer calls that helped Mahomes and his team.

"I had forcible contact to the face mask area and so I went with roughing the passer on that play," Martin said. "So, he slid, obviously, and when he slides, he is considered defenseless. The onus is on the defender. I had forcible contact there to the hairline, to the helmet."

While fans continue to debate the same, the Chiefs are one game away from another Super Bowl appearance.
