Philadelphia Eagles offensive coordinator Kellen Moore was under fire for his play-calling during their 28-22 divisional-round win against the LA Rams on Sunday. Fans couldn't believe what he was trying to do and blamed him for holding the offense back at crucial moments.

More specifically, the play that allowed the LA Rams to get a safety to cut the lead to 16-15 in the third quarter was considered a Moore mistake by plenty of fans. Former Eagles player turned analyst Emmanuel Acho reacted to the play, saying there was nobody else to blame for that outcome than Moore.

"What is Kellen Moore doing there? Your quarterback is hurt. You’re coming out of your own end zone. You have the best running back in the league. It’s 2nd & 6… And you call drop back pass???—-That Safety is on him as much as anyone!" Acho tweeted.

Once he got that off his chest, other fans and analyst shared their thoughts on how Moore put his team in a position to fail.

"QB can’t move. So let’s pass the ball from the end zone. Playcalling malpractice by Kellen Moore," SportsCenter host and Eagles fan Kevin Negandhi wrote.
"Cannot be overstated how bad a play call that was from Moore," one fan said.
"Kellen Moore has some of the most questions play calling I’ve ever seen…. He gotta be point shaving," another fan said.

Others claimed he spent the week preparing for interviews instead of putting together a game plan against the Rams.

"The Eagles running it on 3rd and long every time this season….brutal. Moore has called a terrible game today, hope those 3 interviews were worth it," one fan said.
"Kellen Moore is calling this game like a guy who spent all week preparing for interviews," another fan said.

Kellen Moore named the most likely candidate to become next Dallas Cowboys HC

Before the Philadelphia Eagles moved past the LA Rams in the divisional round, Moore was a recurrent topic in NFL circles. He's one of the most intriguing candidates in the 2025 coaching carousel, with the Dallas Cowboys looking like a solid landing spot for the offensive coordinator.

According to former NFL cornerback Adam "Pacman" Jones, Moore is the guy for the job over former Super Bowl champion Deion Sanders. Jones said on Friday that the relationship Moore has with Cowboys owner Jerry Jones can play a role in the team's head-coaching selection.

He added that Ben Johnson was set to become the Las Vegas Raiders head coach, meaning Sanders wouldn't join the NFL this offseason.
