“Please no WWIII” – Cardinals’ Budda Baker pleads with America to ‘do your research’ over Biden’s COVID vs Trump assassination attempt comparison

Budda Baker doesn't believe there are any similarities between Donald Trump and Joe Biden, both of whom have experienced threats to their health in recent days. The Arizona Cardinals star saw a video comparing the two instances, one which was an assassination attempt and the other a COVID-19 diagnosis.

Baker took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to implore everyone to look deeper than the surface and do their research:

"Okay this is the last one for the day. Just please do your research this year. Don’t let anybody steer you a way just do the research yourself and make a decision. This one right here takes the cake. A man that gets almost assassinated by bullet vs a man that gets [COVID-19]. Lord please no WWIII."

The original video was shared by Clay Travis, a FOX commentator who often does sports work as well as politics. Baker has made his stance clear on the comparison between the two 2024 presidential candidates alongside Travis.

NFL players react to Donald Trump shooting

A bullet grazed the ear of former president Donald Trump a few days ago, narrowly missing his head. Several NFL players reacted at the time in differing ways, but many shared a surprised sentiment.

Antonio Brown, former Pittsburgh Steelers wideout, said on X:

"Cue up Many Men by 50 and we gonna win the presidency in a landslide. F*****g Legend of the Decade."

Tyreek Hill noted that the Simpsons had predicted something like this, though their prediction resulted in a deceased former president. He's waiting for other shocking predictions to come true in the future like many have before.

Harrison Butker, in the immediate aftermath of the shooting, asked everyone on his X account to pray for the United States. This is a divided time, and Butker believes everyone needs to do what they can to ask for divine intervention.

The NFL and Trump are connected. Several players support him and he was involved with the sport in attempted ownership before becoming the president. He was also intertwined with Colin Kaepernick's initial anthem protests as well.
