Dallas Cowboys team owner Jerry Jones' weekly radio show appearance didn't go as planned. Jones became irate when he talked about the Cowboys' recent issues and took it out on radio show hosts Shan Shariff, Bobby Belt and RJ Choppy.
Jones then told The Athletics' Dianna Russini on Tuesday that he could take criticism from the fans and other people, but not the hosts. He went on to say that he "paid" them, a theory that was quickly debunked by Shariff.
In two posts on X on Tuesday night, he was shocked by Jones' accusations and said that they have disagreed on much bigger topics over the years.
"Is this real life??? I WISH Jerry Jones paid me. He insults us again and we've had back and forth over WAY bigger things in our 14 years. I truly don't understand what the hell is going on. Full thoughts tomorrow morning @1053thefan #ShanandRJ"

In his second post, Shariff said that he would discuss all of his feelings on his radio show, and went on to say that Jones did a terrible job of building a roster this offseason and shouldn't be surprised by his team's performance.
"One more thing before I truly unload tom @1053thefan I may not have the ancient football rolodex that Jerry has, but even this football dummy could see what was coming after his laughable, insulting offseason. And I PROMISE you don't actually want to interact with real fans."
Shariff had one last jab by saying that Jones shouldn't try and interact with fans because he won't like their opinions. Besides signing Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb to lucrative contract extensions, Jones failed to make any other significant move ahead of the 2024 NFL season, despite an early playoff loss last year.
Jerry Jones lost his temper on radio show hosts amidst offseason questions
The Dallas Cowboys are 3-3 through the first six weeks after a 47-9 loss to the Detroit Lions on Sunday afternoon. During his weekly radio appearance on 105.3 The Fan, Jones was asked if his offseason decision-making has affected his team's performance this season.
That question sent Jerry Jones off into a tirade as he was apparently insulted. Jones then went on to tell the hosts that they weren't in a position to tell him what to do. At one point, he even insinuated that he would find new hosts to interview him if they couldn't do it correctly.
"You really think you're gonna sit here with a microphone and tell me all of the things that I've done wrong without going over the rights?" Jones said. Listen, we both know we're talking to a lot of great fans, a lot of great listeners. And I'm very sorry for what happened out there Sunday. I'm sick about what happened Sunday."
He then tried to smooth things out by saying sorry to the fans for the disappointing loss against the Lions.
