Raiders 2023 Schedule: Complete list of opponents for Las Vegas Raiders in 2023

Kansas City Chiefs v Las Vegas Raiders
Wide receiver Davante Adams of the Las Vegas Raiders

Josh McDaniels, coach of the Las Vegas Raiders, did not make the postseason in a season where there were reasons to be optimistic. With one season under his belt, the Raiders will attempt to make a playoff appearance in 2023, or the McDaniels era may end.

The Raiders labored through several close defeats early in the regular season before going on a roll down the stretch. Nevertheless, with Davante Adams added, fans certainly expected more from the team.

The Raiders likely won't need to change much offensively in 2023, especially as they have one of the league's best wideouts and a potent rushing threat. The Raiders should work on strengthening their defensive line, which was a weakness in 2022, particularly against the pass.

Who will be Las Vegas Raiders' starting QB next season?

The Raiders are set to have an offseason from which they should emerge as a significantly different squad. The Raiders will search for a replacement quarterback, as former starting quarterback Derek Carr has signed with a new team.

While replacing Carr is unlikely to be straightforward, numerous names are already being pushed around as likely successors.

With the seventh overall choice in the upcoming NFL draft, the team will get a chance to either sign a player in free agency with the $46.3 million in cap space they have, draft one, or trade for one.

Aaron Rodgers of the Green Bay Packers has frequently been associated with the Raiders. The team might choose to pursue the rookie quarterback route, as was previously suggested.

Among the four youngsters tipped, Bryce Young of Alabama and C.J. Stroud of Ohio State are thought to be the most ready to make their NFL bow. At the same time, Will Levis of Kentucky and Anthony Richardson of Florida are considered developing players with a bright future.
