Las Vegas Raiders receiver Davante Adams is perhaps the best at his position in the entire NFL. After making a name for himself during his time with Green Bay in the august company of Aaron Rodgers, Adams took his talents to Las Vegas.
In his first year as a Raider, Adams totaled 1,516 yards and 14 touchdowns as his crown as the best receiver in football remained firmly on his head. Perhaps NBC Sports would beg to differ.
In a Twitter post that asked fans to create the perfect offense for $15 with the freedom to choose any player, Adams was listed for only $1. PFF writer Trevor Sikkema wasn't happy with the listing.
"I’m sorry, is that DAVANTE ADAMS for $1."

NFL fans agreed that having Davante Adams in the $1 row wasn't the best idea from the NBC Sports social media team.
Fans have had a hard time digesting Adams' listing in the $1 bracket for the social media post.
Davante Adams shines in first season for Raiders
Adams swapped Green Bay for Las Vegas in the offseason last year as he reunited with long-time friend and quarterback Derek Carr. The Raiders didn't have the season many expected with the acquisition of the star receiver as the team missed the playoffs, but the player himself had a sensational year.
He ended up surpassing 1,500 receiving yards and grabbed 14 touchdowns. This marks four out of the last five seasons in which Adams has gone past 1,300 receiving yards and double-digit touchdowns.
So the fact that NBC Sports put Adams on the $1 line has clearly upset NFL fans as he is clearly the number one receiver in football in the eyes of most. He also has the stats to back that claim up.
Now, with a new quarterback in Jimmy Garoppolo at the helm, the idea is that Adams will pick up where he left off last season and continue to put up huge numbers at will.
If he produces another year like he did last season, Raiders fans will begin to dream of glory.
