Las Vegas Raiders star pass rusher Maxx Crosby has taken to social media to share a message as wildfires are spreading in California.
Late Tuesday evening into Wednesday morning, a wildfire started in the inland foothills northeast of Los Angeles. Another wildfire then spread through the Pacific Palisades neighborhood. The fire has caused over 30,000 residents to evacuate their homes.
A 25-year-old female firefighter and “multiple burn victims” are among the injured in the Palisades fire. It's a heartbreaking story, and Crosby, who played in Oakland before the Raiders moved to Vegas, is very familiar with the California area and took to social media to share a message.

Maxx Crosby underwent season-ending surgery
Las Vegas Raiders star pass rusher Maxx Crosby underwent season-ending ankle surgery in December.
As the Raiders were out of playoff contention, Crosby ended up getting ankle surgery after he dealt with the nagging injury all season.
"As much as this pains me to write, I will not be playing the rest of the season. Second time this year getting rolled up on the same ankle and now it will require surgery," Crosby wrote. "As much as it pains me to not go to war with my brothers and for the fans, I truly believe everything happens for a reason. I have absolutely zero regrets with my process, my approach and my discipline to this game. Instead of sitting out for over a month with my first high ankle sprain @ Baltimore, I only missed 1 game and came back and fought all year because that’s who I am.
"If I can go, I can make a difference," Crosby added. "Unfortunately, I got chopped blocked from the side and got another one but even worse this time vs. Tampa. Some people will say that I should just take my time and just relax and get ready for next year, I will never be that person. I have a team around me that made it possible for me to come back and still disrupt even though I truly wasn’t fully healthy all year. I will stand in the fire no matter what the circumstance because this game is my life."
Crosby played in 12 games recording 7.5 sacks, and 45 tackles. He has two years left on his deal and will be a free agent in 2027.
