Kyren Williams has done it again. In the first quarter of Thursday's game against the Minnesota Vikings, the Los Angeles Rams running back caught a pass from Matthew Stafford to extend his scoring streak to 10 games - the longest active streak in the league:

Fans of the team praised the play:

"Easy work!"

Kyren TD in every game this season," one fan pointed out.
"Kyren Williams with the clutch play! Stafford delivering dimes! #RamsHous," one fan wrote.

More of the joy can be seen below:

"Kyren is a TD machine!" one exclaimed.
"William is making mama proud," one commended.
"The Rams are so back," another cheered.

The score, which was sandwiched by Sam Darnold passes to Josh Oliver and Trent Sherfield, was also Stafford's 4,968th completion, moving him past Dan Marino for ninth-most all-time.

Kyren Williams proving to be a bright spot for struggling Rams

After a playoff appearance in 2023, the Rams have fallen back down again in a situation reminiscent of their 2022 Super Bowl hangover. Injuries to wide receivers Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua and the offensive line have not helped matters.

But all that does not seem to bother Kyren Williams, who simply continues to score. After last Sunday's win against the Las Vegas Raiders, where he rushed to the end zone twice to surpass Hall of Famer Eric Dickerson for most touchdowns within a player's first 17 starts in franchise history, he said (per the OC Register):

“I’m just glad that we was able to get a win. Being able to score touchdowns and celebrate with your teammates in the end zone, that’s what it’s all about. And that’s what we did, and I’m just glad we came out with a win.”

He continued:

“I just work to provide for this team... My focus isn’t on, ‘I have to score.’ It’s not really like that. I’m just trying to be able to provide for this team.”

And head coach Sean McVay has himself been very appreciative of his lead rusher's efforts. Last month, in the midst of Williams' scoring streak, he said:

“I’m really proud of Kyren. He’s so competitive. His spirit, the way he goes about it, I love it. If we can get everybody to start playing like him, we’ll be in good shape. I love what Kyren Williams has done.”

The Rams have since tied the game with a Matthew Stafford connection to Cooper Kupp.
