If one had ever wondered who would be a possible Rams wide receiver who was the closest to Randy Moss, Demarcus Robinson probably would not have been the answer. Cooper Kupp, a former Super Bowl MVP, and Puka Nacua are more well-known candidates.

However, in the Divisional Round against the Eagles, the Los Angeles receiver pulled off an extraordinary catch at just the right moment. His team had just gone behind 13-7 after a Saquon Barkley touchdown and the snow had started to fall. The Rams needed a spark and they got it from their under-heralded wide receiver.

Matthew Stafford threw a deep ball and it looked like the Eagles' Isaiah Rodgers had the ball in his grasp. But as he tussled with Demarcus Robinson, it became apparent that the Rams' player had dislodged the ball from the defender's grasp and made it a successful catch instead of an interception.

The comments continued to come most complimenting the fight the wide receiver showed in what looked like a lost situation. Others said that Matthew Stafford needed to thank Demarcus Robinson for bailing him out. Here are some more responses.

Demarcus Robinson has been the Rams' big playmaker throughout the season

Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua are Matthew Stafford's two most trusted receivers and with good reason. However, Demarcus Robinson has been the person most likely to make big plays in games.

The wideout has six games this season, including the Wild Card round, where he has finished with an average of over 20 yards per reception. In eight games, his longest catch has also been over that limit.

He ended the regular season with 505 yards in just 31 yards. Even last week, he had a single reception against the Vikings but garnered 23 yards with that reception. This catch against the Eagles was for 48 yards.

Demarcus Robinson has become the player who makes the big plays for the Rams' offense. And knowing the way Sean McVay designs plays and the manner Matthew Stafford throws, the results are often spectacular, as seen again today.
