New Orleans Saints wide receiver Rashid Shaheed's hip injury could impact his status for Week 6. Shaheed has been an important part of the Saints' offense this season, as he's recorded 19 receptions for 338 yards and three touchdowns.

Rashid Shaheed didn't practice on Wednesday, which puts his status in question for the Saints' game on Sunday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Although Shaheed didn't practice on Wednesday, he still has a chance to play on Sunday as long as he can get back on the practice field on Thursday and Friday.
If Shaheed can't play on Sunday, Chris Olave, Mason Tipton, Bub Means, and Cedrick Wilson Jr. should all have bigger roles.
When will Rashid Shaheed return?
Rashid Shaheed could return to the field on Sunday as the New Orleans Saints take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 6.
However, Shaheed's fantasy projection could be worth monitoring as the Saints are starting rookie quarterback Spencer Rattler.
“We talked a lot as a staff about what we felt like was the best thing for us, and undefined, that was the decision that we made. And we’re excited about him getting an opportunity to go in there, and we’ll let him go play and see what he can do,” Allen said, via SaintsWire.
"Internally we talked a lot about it and felt like in this particular game that he gave us the best chance to win."
It's uncertain how Rattler will fare in his first NFL start, which is why fantasy managers should be hesitant to start Shaheed, especially with the hip injury.
If Shaheed can't play in Week 6, it seems likely the receiver will be back in the lineup for the Saints' Week 7 at home on Thursday Night Football against the Denver Broncos.
