Records and fantasy milestones shattered by Joe Mixon and Bengals vs Panthers in rout

Joe Mixon had himself a day against the Carolina Panthers. In a 42-21 blowout, the Cincinnati Bengals running back torched a poor Carolina team to the tune of five total touchdowns.

Mixon was a key factor in the running game (153 yards, four touchdowns on 22 carries) and in the passing game (four receptions for 58 yards and a touchdown). Many fans were blown away by his performance, but even more so if you had him in your fantasy team.

Such was the Bengals and Joe Mixon's dominance that quarterback Joe Burrow got an early shower as he was wrapped up in cotton wool. The win sees Cincinnati move to 5-4 on the year as they are starting to gain momentum.

For the Panthers, this day will be forever remembered as the day Mixon torched them for five total touchdowns.

Scoring five total touchdowns was enough for Joe Mixon to take sole possession of a Bengals record on Sunday. His five touchdowns are the most in Bengals' history.

Not a bad day's work!

The 26-year-old jumped over three former Bengals players in Larry Kinnebrew, Corey Dillon, and Marvin Jones, who all had four touchdowns in a game.
