Buffalo Bills fans are concerned over reports of Keon Coleman struggling in practice. Ahead of the Bills' preseason game against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Saturday, the teams had a joint practice, and Coleman struggled.
Bills reporter Alex Brasky took to social media to reveal that Coleman has had problems creating separation from cornerbacks.
Coleman's speed was a bit of a concern heading into the season, and Bills fans are now more worried after he was locked down in practice.

"Every single year there is a draft prospect who is billed as a big contested catch guy who can make any catch, even without great speed. Every single year they become busts in the NFL. There are exceptions like Evans, Higgins and Drake London but they’re rare," a fan wrote.
"Hmm red zone receiver type beat lol," a fan added.
With Coleman not having game-changing speed, many fans believe that the receiver will have to be mostly a red-zone or slot receiver to succeed in the NFL.
"Bills really drafted light skin Quentin Johnston," a fan wrote.
"Another Kelvin Benjamin," a fan wrote.
Fans think Coleman could be a bust, but this was just in practice, and perhaps in the game he will have more success.
"Keon Coleman is struggling to separate and had an awful contested catch rate in college," a fan wrote.
"This was my worry with #Bills Keon Coleman, no doubt he’s strong, big, and can make the contested catches but his separation both at the line and out of breaks has always been a worry throughout the draft process and TC," a fan added.
Even before Coleman played his first preseason game in the NFL, there are concerns about his ability to make separation.
Josh Allen praises Keon Coleman
Although NFL fans are concerned about Coleman, Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen isn't worried. The quarterback heaped praise on Coleman for his ability to catch passes.
“He has an unreal ability to go up and catch the ball at a high point," Allen said, via SI. "Very good ball skills, and it’s fun to play with a guy like that that you can just close your eyes and throw it and expect that he will go up, and you saw it in the game, too. He got undercut and pulled a little bit on an in-cut but he did a good job of fighting through and not letting the guy pick the ball off so that instills a lot of trust in quarterbacks.”
In the Bills' first preseason game, Coleman had just one catch for eight yards.
