Quarterback Kyle Sloter was one of the best players in the USFL last season. He was drafted by the Arlington Renegades in the NFL and through the first two weeks isn't seeing the playing time that many assumed he would.
On Sunday night's Week 2 matchup against the Houston Roughnecks, the Renegades lost 23-14 and left the fans and their quarterback questioning the decisions of the coaching staff.

Former Ball State quarterback Drew Plitt started the first two games of the XFL season and the Roughnecks second-half defense on Sunday night had fans calling for him to be benched.
On Twitter, fans started using the hashtag "#StartSloter". Stating that they were outraged over the fact that the quarterback was on the bench when Plitt had four turnovers. After the game, Sloter liked Tweets calling for him to play. Indicating that he too may be losing his patience with Renegades head coach Bob Stoops.
Kyle Sloter's dad also apparently liked Tweets calling for his son to take the field over Plitt. Whether Stoops and the Renegades decide to make a change before the Week 3 game against the Orlando Guardians.
Kyle Sloter's NFL and USFL stats
Kyle Sloter was an undrafted free agent in 2017 after splitting his collegiate career between Southern Mississippi and Northern Colorado. The Denver Broncos signed him as an undrafted free agent in May 2017 but waived him after training camp.
He spent the 2017 and 2018 seasons on the Minnesota Vikings' practice squad before being waived. He spent the 2019 season with both the Arizona Cardinals and then the Detroit Lions' practice squads.
He was activated by the Lions at the end of the 2019 season to backup David Blough in the last four games, but never saw any playing time. His time on NFL practice squads continued throughout the 2021 NFL season with the Chicago Bears and Las Vegas Raiders and then once again with the Vikings.
He was drafted in the first round of the 2022 USFL Draft by the New Orleans Breakers. He spent the entire season as the starting quarterback for the Breakers.
He led the Breakers to the playoffs, but a loss to the Birmingham Stallions in the Semi-Final cut their playoff run short. The 29 year old was named to the All-USFL Team after the 2022 season. He threw for 1,798 passing yards and nine touchdowns while also rushing for a touchdown. He was also named the Offensive Player of the Week twice in the 2022 season.
