Aaron Rodgers entered December with one of the worst records of his career at 4-8. However, a month later, visions of his late run to the Super Bowl are in full force. While Rich Eisen wasn't taking it that far, the show host was still backing the new-look team over the one that existed around Thanksgiving.

Here's how he put it:

"Aaron Rodgers and the Packers were left for dead and... we were part of that conversation nationally after they dropped to 4-8. 'Hey, his thumb's broken. Got to see what you have in Jordan Love, right?' That was the conversation..."

He continued, explaining how the Packers were also losing the post-breakup comparisons to Davante Adams:

"No question about it. Dead. Finished. Davante Adams was in a much better position at that point in time in Vegas as they were starting to win games and not blow leads... and here we are... in 2023. The Packers are in a win-and-in scenario in Week 18. Still alive... They're feeling it. And it's kind of like maybe we're all on an ayahuasca trip."

After blowing a 3-1 start to the year to fall to 4-8, the vast majority of teams would continue to slump to a four or five-win season. However, that was when No. 12's team started hitting their stride. It started with a win over the Chicago Bears in Week 13.

Most wrote off the win as just another instance of Aaron Rodgers "owning" the Bears, but the win streak got off the ground with a win over the Los Angeles Rams.

In Week 16, he beat the Miami Dolphins on Christmas Day to reach 7-8. Then, needing just two more wins to make the playoffs, the team put together their most dominant victory yet over the Minnesota Vikings.

With just the Detroit Lions between Green Bay and the post-season, will No. 12 finish off the run?
