A few months ago, the National Football League announced that singer Rihanna would be the Super Bowl LVII halftime performer. Rihanna apparently turned down the opportunity to perform at the big game several times over the years, but she decided to perform this season.
In the weeks and months since the announcement, fans of the Grammy award-winning artist have been excited to see her highly anticipated halftime show.

On Sunday afternoon, the NFL's official Instagram account debuted a new teaser video for the Super Bowl LVII Halftime show, which will take place in just two weeks. The video shows Rihanna walking. As she does, there are voiceovers from different media outlets with all of them talking about her music and upcoming performance.
The video then ends with some clips of her music, as well as Rihanna approaching the camera and using her finger to say 'hush'. Perhaps to silence the noise around her? Fans will have to wait two whole weeks to watch Rihanna perform during the big game.
However, they will only have to wait a few hours to find out which NFL teams will be competing in the highly anticipated game on Sunday, February 12, 2023.
Super Bowl LVII commercial teaser debuts on Sunday
The Super Bowl LVII halftime performance featuring Rihanna wasn't the only teaser trailer for the big game that the NFL released on Sunday. A commercial that features Pittsburgh Steelers veteran defensive end Cam Heyward and Detroit Lions defensive end Aidan Hutchinson was also released.
The two are seen walking down a hallway in a hotel wearing bellhop uniforms. Heyward asks Hutchinson, "What's the play?" The two then continue down the hallway. Hutchinson then knocks on the door of one of the rooms.
In a high-pitched voice, Hutchinson says, "Housekeeping" and peeks in the peep hole. Heyward gives a strange look and then proceeds to do the same thing. The commercial then goes to a black screen and tells fans to stay tuned after halftime during Super Bowl LVII for the entire commercial.
Now NFL fans, and even those who just tune in for commercials, are left wondering what the two could be up to. Whose room did they knock on the door of, and why are they dressed like the hotel staff? It's definitely a commercial that NFL fans will be waiting to see in the second half.
