Kirk Cousins and the Minnesota Vikings are off to a 0-3 start to the season. Despite playing considerably well, careless turnovers have diminished their chances of making the playoffs.
There have been a lot of rumors regarding Cousins potentially getting traded by the Vikings given that their season is basically over. The defending NFC North champions will face the Carolina Panthers in Week 4, and NFL legend Rob Gronkowski has put forward a demand for the Vikings.
He wants the franchise to trade away Cousins to the New York Jets if they lose against the Panthers. He wants the veteran quarterback to fill the void left by Aaron Rodgers. Here's what he said on the Up and Adams Show:
"For some reason, if the Vikings lose, Kirk Cousins should be shipped out 100% and he should be shipped out to the New York Jets. And why I think that makes sense is because it's his last year on his contract."

"You're going to get Aaron Rodgers back next year with the Jets, but they need a fix at quarterback position this year if they want to win some games. And it makes sense having his contract expire after this year, he needs to be shipped to the Jets. It'll make them competitive."
Kirk Cousins to the Jets makes a lot of sense
After this season, Kirk Cousins will be an unrestricted free agent, and if the Jets can afford his salary, they should definitely make an offer to the Vikings.
Zach Wilson has performed terribly and has consistently let down his teammates. Various reports indicate that the Jets players are unhappy with Robert Saleh's support of Wilson, which is why they need a new quarterback immediately to save this season.
This season, Cousins has performed quite well but has been unable to lead his team to a win Given the strength of the Jets' defense, the Minnesota Vikings quarterback could certainly lead that team to the playoffs.
In three games this season, Cousins has thrown for 1,075 yards, nine touchdowns, and two interceptions with a passer rating of 108.2.
