Former NFL quarterback Tom Brady keeps on growing in the sport of football. After seeking his retirement, Brady quickly inked a 10-year, $375 million deal with Fox Sports to become a color commentator. Recently, he also became a minority NFL team owner.

On Tuesday at the NFL owners' meeting, the league approved Brady's 5% ownership stake in the Las Vegas Raiders franchise.

After officially becoming a minority owner for the Raiders, Brady is expected to have an input on their future quarterback search.

Brady's former teammate, Rob Gronkowski, who was recently on the Up & Adams Show hosted by Kay Adams, weighed in on Brady's role to find a franchise gunslinger.

"Well, that's a good point, and that's the truth. Tom knows talent better than anyone else. He knows how to evaluate a player..." Gronk Said.
"I remember just being one-on-one with him in meeting rooms, and he's going over the guys that are covering me, and he can break them down, and literally, one or two minutes to the tee...
"He can tell you their skill set; he can tell you their weaknesses; he can tell you their strengths. And that's what Tom brings, big time, to the table," he added.

It's no surprise hearing one of Tom Brady's former teammates rave about his football knowledge and assessment of players. Brady has played in the NFL for 23 years, has won seven Super Bowls, and is one of the biggest football masterminds.

Tom Brady had been trying to become a minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders for almost a year and a half. In order for Brady to become an official owner, he needed approval from at least three-fourths of NFL owners.

He got the approval at their meeting earlier this week. Brady is looking forward to enjoying his new role and said he's eager to help the Raiders win.

Brady said:

“I’m eager to contribute to the organization in any way I can, honoring the Raiders’ rich tradition while finding every possible opportunity to improve our offering to fans… and most importantly, WIN football games.”

With Brady being a Fox Sports broadcaster, he can still broadcast Raiders games but won't have access to "in-person or online broadcast production meetings and may not have access to team facilities."

With Brady officially becoming a partial NFL owner, he will no longer be able to return to the league as a player unless he sells his shares back to the team.
